Position: Office CoordinatorÂ
Reports to: Lead PastorÂ
Job Status: Non-ExemptÂ
Job Time Commitment: Part-time (18 hours/week)Â
Pay Range: $21-23/hr

Position Overview: This position supports Pilgrim Lutheran Church in worship ministry, office and receptions services, and staff activity.Â
Â
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Â Â
Prepare, edit, and produce weekly worship bulletins for morning and evening worship services, and for occasional funeral servicesÂ
Administrative assistant to Lead Pastor, and occasionally other staff Â
Act as the front office staff receptionist, answer and direct phone calls, and manage emails Â
Recruit, equip, schedule, and support congregational lay leaders to be involved in the worship ministry of Pilgrim, and engage lay leaders for general office assistanceÂ
Provide staff with technical support or assist in arranging technical support, coordinating with Business ManagerÂ
Purchase office, building, and worship supplies. Maintain vendor relationsÂ
Copying, mailing, and filingÂ
Manage interior meeting rooms/times and schedules; manage exterior signboard; manage building keysÂ
Manage copyright licenses for worship and musicÂ
Prepare new member information packets and filesÂ
Organize and maintain church calendarÂ
Coordinate and support occasional eventsÂ

Essential Skills & Abilities: Â
Proficient in MS Office 365, including Teams and SharePoint, and the use of standard office tools (copy machine, etc.)Â
Proficient or the ability to become proficient in church database toolsÂ
Effective and adaptable communication skills (verbal, written and digital)  Â
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage projects, and the day-to-day workstream and meet deadlinesÂ
Ability to work independently and also work productively in a team environment to achieve shared goals Â
Strong interpersonal skillsÂ
Resource problem solverÂ
Exceptional attention to detailÂ

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:Â
Bachelor’s degreeÂ
Experience working in a faith communityÂ
Creative and adaptable technical skillsÂ
Basic understanding of HTML and WIX Website EditorÂ
Database experienceÂ
